Since 1965, CFK has served the diverse and changing higher education, workforce, and enrichment needs of the individuals and industries of Monroe County and beyond. A member of the Florida College System, CFK is the southernmost college in the continental United States serving a 130-mile chain of islands. In addition to its scenic, oceanfront main campus in Key West, CFK has two satellite locations in the Middle Keys and the Upper Keys (NEW Upper Keys Center coming to Key Largo in August 2021!), as well as virtual platforms to deliver online instruction.
CFK offers bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees, certificates, non-credit courses, and workforce training. Programs include marine science, diving, marine engineering, renewable energy engineering, business, hospitality, culinary, nursing, construction technologies, and public safety. CFK takes pride in being a small and diverse learning community with low faculty to student ratios and engaging, personal instruction.
