Friends, employees, and board members of The College of the Florida Keys brought dozens of new toys for local children to CFK’s annual Caribbean Holiday Party on December 9, hosted by CFK President Dr. Jonathan Gueverra and his wife Josephine. The toys were then donated to Samuel’s House, a Keys-based non-profit organization that offers housing and supportive services for homeless women and intact families.

“The incredible amount and variety of toys we collected exemplify the generosity of the employees, board members, and friends of the College,” said Gueverra. “I am especially proud of this year’s sizable donation given the increased need caused by the pandemic and supply chain challenges. We hope our contributions bring holiday joy to the families at Samuel’s House.”
