KEY WEST, FL, September 10, 2026— The College of the Florida Keys (CFK) is hosting a Virtual Academic Showcase for anyone thinking about next steps toward a career or credential to achieve their professional goals. Participants can connect directly with CFK faculty and current students to explore programs, degrees, certificates, and financial support to make it affordable via Zoom on Thursday, September 24 at 5:30 p.m.

Graduating high school students weighing their options, working adults ready for a career change, and anyone returning to the workforce after time away will benefit from participating. Academic deans, faculty, and current students will be on hand to share firsthand insights and answer questions about a wide range of programs and pathways to rewarding careers and good-paying jobs.

Whether the goal is a bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or a certificate, prospective students will learn what’s possible and how to get started in a range of opportunities, among them: marine science and environmental technology, culinary arts, emergency medical technician, nursing, business, education, law enforcement, criminal justice, hospitality, and construction apprenticeships.

All attendees will receive a code to waive the $30 application fee.
