2026 Summer Camps - Now open!
- Cooking and Creating (Ages 10+)
- The cooking summer camp for kids is a fun and educational program designed to introduce young aspiring chefs to the culinary arts. The camp takes place in a vibrant and interactive kitchen setting, where campers can roll up their sleeves, “don” their chef’s hats, and get hands-on experience cooking and baking delicious dishes.

- Dream it Do it Challenge (Ages 10+)
- In this summer camp, campers collaborate to imagine a project that serves their community. Whether that means organizing a trash clean-up at a local mangrove, establishing a scholarship fund, starting a mentorship program for their peers, or brainstorming a future nonprofit, small groups will explore personal development alongside imagination, idea generation, and creative thinking, as well as problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.

- Infinite Imagination (Ages 10+)
- How can we continue to cultivate and strengthen the human imagination with the rise of AI? Each day, campers will explore their imaginations and unique creative expression through various whimsical art activities, such as creative writing, freestyle painting, mixed-media collage, and more. They will be guided by an experienced interdisciplinary artist who will provide instruction, support, and encouragement.

- Future Heroes (Ages 7+)
- Future Heroes Summer Camp is an inspiring and action-packed program designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders and environmental stewards in the vibrant Florida Keys. Campers have the unique opportunity to explore and learn from renowned local organizations, including the Turtle Hospital to see marine animal rescue efforts, and the Conch Republic Marine Army to understand marine conservation. In addition, campers will meet members of the Key West Police Department, Fire Department, Trauma Star helicopter service, and the Navy Clinic, gaining insights into emergency response, public safety, and medical support in the Keys.

- The young writers camp is an inspiring and creative program designed to nurture the love of writing and storytelling in young aspiring authors. The camp provides a supportive and engaging environment where kids can explore their imagination, develop their writing skills, and connect with a community of fellow writers and mentors who share their passion for words.

- Tropical Hobbyist (Ages 10+)
- Through hands-on interactions in the marine labs, campers will learn about working with marine ornamental fish and what it takes to raise aquarium fish. They will investigate live feeds, water quality, and basic tank care and maintenance. Campers will get to build and take home their own aquarium! Beginner and advanced camps available.

- Code Breakers (Ages 10+)
- This hands-on program introduces students to the fundamentals of coding and computational thinking using Scratch. Campers explore the world of problem-solving through interactive challenges, creative game design, and exciting coding missions. In a fun, high-energy environment, students learn how to think algorithmically, break down problems into logical steps, and bring their ideas to life through animation and games. Each session blends technology, creativity, and teamwork to make learning code both meaningful and memorable.

CFK's Summer Camps will be held in-person on the Key West Campus. Camps run Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 60-minute lunch break.

- Drop-off completed Camper Registration Packet on-campus (Building B, room 206) or email to summercamp@cfk.edu.
- Payments may be made over the phone (305-809-3186) or in-person at Business Services (Building A, room 114).
