The College of the Florida Keys is committed to fostering a culture of care, prioritizing the wellness and mental health of its students. CFK partners with BetterMynd to provide students with access to private online therapy sessions, ensuring mental health support is readily available. CFK aims to create a supportive environment that enhances academic success and overall well-being.
The College of the Florida Keys was awarded a grant through the Garrett Lee Smith Campus Suicide Prevention program. The overarching goal of The College of the Florida Keys’ project is to promote resilience, social connectedness, and create a culture of care by increasing the capacity of the College to prevent suicide and suicide-related behaviors and improve awareness of and access to mental health training and services for CFK students.
