The purpose of the SGA shall be to unify clubs on campus and in the context of a nurturing environment, promote cultural and social events beneficial to the student populous. Its duties shall also include coordinating student activities, promoting an intellectual interest in all phase of the college life, increasing the sense of individual responsibility among the student body, and encouraging cooperation between the students and the administration. The SGA shall act as a liaison through which student issues, thoughts, and concerns are conveyed to the administration, faculty, and staff.

President - Naomi Fritz

Hello, everyone. My name is Naomi, and I am going into my fourth year at The College of the Florida Keys. I have graduated with my A.S. in Marine Environmental Technology, and I am currently enrolled in the B.A.S. in Supervision and Management. I have been President of SGA for a year and a half now. I was Secretary before I was elected President. This year, I want to bring some new and fun activities to campus as well as projects.

Vice President - Gentrie Billbrough

Hello, my name is Gentrie. I am a second year student in the MET program and I am the Vice President of your Student Government Association. Last semester I held the position of SGA Secretary and this year I want to make more of a difference.

Secretary - Monae Hylor

My name is Monae Hylor. I am 26 years old and I am from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am currently in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality program. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, baking, watching movies, and being in team groups. I wanted to be the Secretary of the Student Government Association because I want to lead student activities and keep records of social events and meetings. What I want to do is keep up the school spirit of The College of the Florida Keys.

Treasurer - Emelia Cardenas

I have been a member of the Student Government Association in the past and have served as a senator. I am well rehearsed in the process of the meetings and legislative activities. I have served many positions before such as President, Vice President, and Secretary in multiple clubs on campus. I make sure that the voices of the students are heard and share their thoughts on topics that pertain to the school and their education. I am all in for helping the students of The College of the Florida Keys!

Parliamentarian - Kyla Burnham

Hi, my name is Kyla. I am going to my 3rd and final year. I am in the Project Access program and doing a Guest Service Operation Certificate. For the past 2 years of my time at The College of the Florida Keys I was a Senator for the Student Government Association. I developed leadership skills by attending Florida College System SGA conferences and saw a big change in my ideas for helping me come up with activities. I am the SGA Parliamentarian and I will continue to show my leadership skills for my last year at CFK. I have always enjoyed being involved and serving the CFK community.
