Educational Programs
Curriculum
The College of the Florida Keys Academy provides students with a choice of three course levels: regular, honors, and dual enrollment. Most students are encouraged to enroll in at least one or two dual enrollment classes at The College of the Florida Keys (CFK). Students have the opportunity to earn an A.A. Degree, an A.A.S. Degree or work towards completion of a certificate from CFK.
Grading
Grades are calculated for both a weighted and unweighted Grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale. GPA is cumulated and calculated semi-annually. All Dual Enrollment courses earn an additional .5 when calculating a weighted GPA.
