CFK Virtual Academic Showcase offers insider perspective
KEY WEST, FL, February 12, 2026— The College of the Florida Keys (CFK) will host a Virtual Academic Showcase live with faculty and current students for anyone interested in learning what programs can help them achieve their career goals and how to succeed in college. The event will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, February 25 at 5:30 p.m.
The showcase is designed to help all who are exploring their next educational step, whether they are graduating from high school, changing or advancing their career, or returning to the workforce.
CFK’s academic deans, faculty, and students will share insights into a wide variety of programs, from business, marine science, nursing, and education to law enforcement, and criminal justice, culinary, hospitality, and construction apprenticeships. Participants will receive both guidance in selecting a program that aligns with their goals and support in navigating financial aid, scholarships, and flexible payment options that make education accessible.
Prospective students will learn how they can earn their bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or a certificate and will have the opportunity to ask questions directly of faculty members who teach in these programs.
All participants will receive a code to waive the $30 application fee. Applications for summer sessions are due by May 1 for classes that start on May 18. Applications for fall semester are due by August 5 for classes that begin August 17.
Registration for the Virtual Academic Showcase is required. Visit the College’s website at CFK.edu/futurestudents to learn more and to sign up.
